Roger Hurst is a Founder and serves as President of LightRidge Resources. Hurst helped form LightRidge Resources to leverage the energy and utilities experience of its staff and by delivering advanced technical solutions and performance improvements to the industrial market. Hurst has held a variety of executive positions prior to forming LightRidge Resources. He served as president of a services contractor to the Federal Government and as chief financial officer of an energy services company (ESCO) jointly formed with a subsidiary of PECO Energy. He has also held financial and consulting positions supporting the development and application of management information and software systems in a variety of industries. Mr. Hurst received an Electrical Engineering degree and an MBA both from the University of Texas at Austin.

is Chief Technology Officer for LightRidge Resources. is passionate about leveraging his industrial experience and applying technical, yet practical, solutions to solve challenges faced by industry today. Mr. has extensive experience developing solutions and leading teams in areas of statistical and process modeling, process optimization, troubleshooting through modeling, catalyst characterization and development, process development and integration, fluidization, refractory characterization and development and environmental improvement challenges. Prior to joining LightRidge Resources, he served in many engineering and technical management positions at Sasol, a Fortune 500 company and world leader in synthetic oil and petrochemicals production (Coal-to-Liquids and Gas-to-Liquids Technologies). is a registered professional engineer and earned bachelor and master degrees in Chemical Engineering and a Baccalaureus Honores in Engineering (Management of Technology) all from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and is a member of AIChE.
